Setup steps

Add a software title
Go to Software and click New. Enter the publisher (e.g. Microsoft) and the product name (e.g. M365 E3).

Choose a billing mode
Pick the mode that matches your contract — pooled seats, per-person, perpetual, concurrent, or site. The form shows only the fields that mode needs. See Choosing a Billing Mode for the details.

Set cost and renewal
Enter the per-period cost, the billing period (monthly or annual), and the start date so the next renewal projects automatically.

Assign seats
For seat-based modes, add seats and assign each one to a person or a device.
💡 Tip: Set the start date to any past anniversary — DREAM projects the next renewal forward for you, so you never have to enter a future date by hand.
