Using the Vehicle Dashboard
A purpose-built dashboard for fleet managers — overdue maintenance, upcoming items, replacement forecast, and registration alerts at a glance.
Quick Answer
Click Vehicles → Dashboard in the sidebar. The page is read-only — every card links to the relevant detail or report.
The Vehicle Dashboard at /vehicles/dashboard surfaces the five most actionable fleet signals on a single screen.
KPI strip
- —Active Fleet — total vehicle count with In Service / Inventory split
- —Maintenance Overdue — count of scheduled items past their next-due date, plus the number of vehicles affected
- —Operating Cost — sum of fuel spend + maintenance spend across the fleet, with the split shown
- —Replacement Due — vehicles due for replacement this year plus anything already overdue
Detail cards
- —Upcoming Maintenance — overdue and due-in-30-days scheduled items across the fleet
- —Replacement Forecast — 5-year bar chart with overdue/by-year buckets
- —Registration Expiring — vehicles with registration renewals due in the next 60 days
- —Recent Maintenance Activity — the latest 15 maintenance entries across all vehicles, with cost and date
