Reorder Points & Low-Stock Alerts
Set a reorder point on each item and DREAM surfaces low stock on the dashboard as soon as you drop below it.
Quick Answer
The reorder point is a per-item threshold below which a stock variant is considered low. It applies equally to every variant of the item at every location.
Setting it up
On any C&I item (C&I → Items), edit the item and set the Reorder point field to an integer (e.g., 10). Save.
From that point on, any stock variant of the item at any location that drops below 10 will appear in the Low Stock Alerts card on the C&I Dashboard.
Where alerts surface
The C&I Dashboard has a Low Stock Alerts card (only visible when inventory mode is enabled). It lists every stock variant below its reorder point, sorted by deficit (largest gap first), with the item, variant, location, current quantity, and threshold.
The KPI strip at the top also shows the total count of items below reorder point so you can spot pressure at a glance.
